Hillary Gauvreau Oat is a Brennan Healing Science practitioner, Reiki Master, writer, and teacher. Since opening her practice in 1993, she has trained in Matrix Energetics, and trauma release methods. She is a long standing member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
Hillary graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in Biology, and was employed by various laboratories including the New York State Department of Health and the Albany Medical College where she was a senior research technician with the Division of Oncology.
She married and moved to New London, Connecticut in 1981, had 3 children and devoted her time to their care. In 1985, Hillary attended the UCONN graduate school of social work. In 1993 she enrolled in the Barbara Brennan School of Healing (BBSH) and felt she had finally found her calling. After graduation in 1997, Hillary was accepted into the BBSH teacher training program. She was on the BBSH faculty until 2013 and had the privilege of teaching in Japan, serving as assistant dean and administrator, and as Anatomy and Physiology lead teacher.
Hillary has integrated her training and experience into the Healing Connections Process. She is writing two books, one on meditation and the other “Reminders of What We Need to Know: Navigating the Consciousness Shift”. She leads meditation groups, and organizes workshops, classes, and events with various speakers and teachers.
Hillary is a talented and gifted teacher, with a boundless enthusiasm for life, science, healing, and making a difference in the world.
