Biographical Information

I have been a professional energy medicine practitioner in Niantic, Connecticut since 1994.  I started as a Reiki Master back in the days when it was relatively unknown. I was taken under the wing of a local therapist, who offered me space in her office once a week. She saw potential in me as a healer and supported my training and practice. I have since tried to pay back that favor by also supporting new therapists. I attended the UCONN School of Social Work graduate program for several semesters before entering the Barbara Brennan School of Healing.  I graduated from BBSH in 1997, and became a faculty member in 1999. In 2007 I was asked to be lead teacher of Anatomy and Physiology, was appointed Assistant Dean/Administrator. This year I have been invited to teach at BBSH in Japan. Almost a dozen times a year I travel to join a teaching team of extraordinary individuals from all over the world. When I am not traveling you will generally find me in my Niantic office, walking the boardwalk, commuting I-95 to NY to spend time with the most supportive man I have ever loved, or sitting at my computer writing an installment of Tales From the Red Couch, my serial on love and personal transformation. My work is extraordinarily satisfying and I feel blessed to be doing all that I do.  When I was a kid, I remember my mother encouraging me to be either a nurse or a teacher, and it seems I have done both, in my own unique way.

I have lived in Connecticut, transplanted from the Albany New York area, since 1981. My three children were born here and are now grown and successful in their own right.  When I began this work I had no idea where it would lead me, yet here I am 15 years later loving my work, and intending to continue long into the future.  Please contact me if you would like to know more about me, my training, healing sessions or the various classes and workshops I teach.

• 1993 - Present Private Practice in Niantic Connecticut.
• 1988 - 1992  Studied with the UCONN Graduate School of Social Work
• 1973 - 1981  Work in clinical and research Labs including The New York. State Department of Health, Bender Hematology Lab, and the Albany Medical College Division of Oncology.
• 1973  Graduated from the College of Saint Rose, Albany New York with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology.
